My Training & Purpose

The value of peace has been at the top of my core list for as long as I can remember. A somewhat challenging task in the world we live in perhaps, but one I strive for, nonetheless. For myself, and for those incredible individuals & companies I’ve had the honour to share my coaching approach with.

I love what I do. I love to talk to people, to listen to their stories, to help them write their next chapter. I love to watch people change and grow as they connect with their true self. I love to witness as people discover the power of the coaching process, to see their lives, their work and their relationships transform.

My passion for helping people change their lives was born from a desire to change my own. And with every new person I meet, I see myself reflected. Different lives, different challenges, but the same wish to overcome an obstacle and move forward.

I am a graduate of the Coaching Academy, where I was awarded my diploma in Personal Coaching in 2015. I am also a practitioner in psychometric tools and personality profiling with Lumina Sparks. Driven by personal growth, more recently I have trained in Holistic Intimacy Coaching with Intimacy Coaching International.

I have faced some tough challenges in my life, but I believe this is one of the most credible ways to coach others. I find it helpful when relating to my clients to remember that life wasn’t always as peaceful as I find it now.

I originally trained as an actor, singer, and dancer. I was lucky enough to perform on the West End stage within the wonderfully eccentric world of musical theatre. I owe much to this career. It taught me discipline, resilience, and strength. Performing brought me many moments of joy, excitement, and pleasure. But the industry also exposed me to some less glamorous aspects of the human condition. Intense competition, gruelling schedules, performance anxiety, and sadly sexual harassment.

In my 20s I suffered a near-death motorbike accident. With a fully ingrained “the show must go on” mindset, I rushed my rehabilitation. I recovered physically but didn’t allow myself time to heal mentally. I failed to understand the effects that living in hypervigilance mode for years can have on the body & mind. After years of dealing with symptoms from PTSD and depression, I discovered the language and tools of coaching, and my life began to transform.

As I put what I was learning into practice, I saw positive and lasting change. I also uncovered an aptitude for communicating and teaching these methods to others, and a talent for getting to the truth of what was holding people back.

With a pragmatic solutions-based approach, I coached clients in both the acting and business world for several years. Later, due to my inherent love of body mind connection I was pulled toward a more somatic approach to wellness. Further studies in meditation practises, energy healing Reiki, Yin yoga and somatic movement all proved to be a compliment to my Coaching training, adding to the active process of healing body & mind.

Over the years with deeper continued practice, I managed to dramatically lessen my own hypervigilance state. I can now access a “go to state” of peace more easily. I still relish in finding new ways to know myself on a deeper level, verbally, energetically, and spiritually.

I now work with a huge variety of people, from all walks of life, combining my coaching techniques and helping them overcome obstacles and grow into their authentic self.

And with this complimentary mix of approaches, I know that I can help you do the same.
